About Us

Our Organization
ZICO Foundation dreams of uplifted women who make a significant contribution to socio-economic development by becoming commercial as well as food-security-oriented smallholder farmers and social entrepreneurs.
The Foundation is constitutionally and legally mandated to operate as a Charitable Relief and Development organization bettering the lives and living conditions of widows, single mothers, women with disabilities, disadvantaged girls, and elderly women in Malawi.
ZICOFORWARD projects a gender-sensitive and equitable society where women are brought into the fabric of society and mainstream sustainable development.
The sole purpose of the Foundation Trust is to deliver enduring solutions to the most excluded socio-economic group of women from conventional development especially widows, single mothers, and girls who have dropped out of school and entered child(early) marriages.
ZICOFORWARD engages and collaborates with community stakeholders, Churches, CBOs, and other NGOs in the delivery of needs-satisfying services to women and girls in need.
Needs Assessment?
ZICOFORWARD exists to socially and economically uplift marginalized women and underprivileged girls from poverty by reducing their vulnerabilities to economic and social ills and attaining sustainable livelihoods thereby empowering healthy and caring families to nurture and provide support for disadvantaged girls.
